Low-Tension Power
Low-tension power is available at lower voltages, typically ranging from 54 to 132 volts. It is generally used for smaller, low-wattage devices, such as lights and small appliances.
Our low tension power is safe and easy to install. All our products have been rigorously tested, including high temperature and humidity tests, in order to ensure their reliability. The process of installation is also very simple and safe without having to apply any additional tools or special assistance.
Installing low-tension power work is an easy and affordable option for professionally installing power lines. Low tension power work is cost-efficient, and bright and takes advantage of the tree’s existing foliage. Compared to traditional light installations that require poles, cables and expensive labour costs, low tension systems are simple, affordable and quick. Once installed you can enjoy a more natural appearance for years
High-Tension Power
High-tension power offers high voltage and uses wire of a much larger diameter than low-tension power. The high voltage causes a high current, so it is generally used to distribute large amounts of power over long distances.
We here at ENT Construction have the experience, knowledge, and equipment to get your project done right. From initial design through to completion, we strive to be an excellent company as well as a partner with our clients.
Installing high tension power work is a type of electrical service in which a conductive wire is suspended from two poles, one at the top, and the other at the bottom. The wire takes on the characteristic of a circuit due to its ability to conduct electricity from one pole to another. High tension power provides clean energy for commercial, industrial, agricultural and residential use.
The purpose of installing high-tension power lines is to provide a means of distributing electrical energy at high voltage to distant locations. Installing high-tension power lines involves specialized equipment and skills. First, a long flight of towers is constructed with the help of an earthmoving machine. The foundations for the towers are then dug out manually by workers using shovels. Concrete footings are placed in each foundation and then the towers are lifted into place by cranes or helicopters. After the towers are in position, the power lines are installed from the bottom up in multiple stages to maintain a tension between them as they are pulled over long spans
